Family
I’m married to Peter. Being with him has been a living picture to me of what the Bible talks about when it says God will do “exceedingly abundantly, above anything I could ask or think.” My three kids are grown with families of their own; Erica & Jay, Sarah & Bob and Ken & Monica. Spend any time at all with me and you’ll know I treasure my grandchildren – Anthony, Grace, Benjamin, Camille, Taylor, Timothy, Mason & Layton. I’m blessed!
Life Verse
Several have equally been powerful my life:
“Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts..” Colossians 3:16 Amplified
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ...”
2 Cor. 10:4, 5
“Search my heart, Oh God; know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting” Psalm 139:23, 24 That one pretty much covers all the bases!

Bio
I’ve been a part of Horizons since 1981, with the exception of a couple of years when I married Peter and attended his church; then we came back here as a couple. With my kids and grandchildren involved here, it really is an extension of my family. I’m 50+ years old and I’ve had incredible blessings and miracles and equally painful heartaches. The one constant has been God. He really is who He says He is. The verses I’d heard and learned for years\– they really are absolute truths. I love God, I love my husband, I love my family, I love what I do here – love being a part of what God is doing here! I want to savor every day and live on purpose for the next 50 years or until Jesus returns – whichever comes first!
